The Computer Apps Exemption Test will be held on March 22nd during Enrichment for students wanting to try to test out of Computer Applications class. Please sign up with Ms. Brouillette in the Buisness Department. It will take two Enrichment periods to complete the test.
** NOTE: Beginning next year no seniors will be able to take the Exemption Test in the Spring. Your only opportunity is now or next Fall otherwise you will need to take Computer Applications class.
The 19th Annual Franklin County Career & Job Expo will be held on Thursday, March 30th at Collins-Perley from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Over 80 businesses, industries, agencies and colleges are invited to participate. The objective of this event is to link students, educators and employers. Students and educators will be introduced to opportunities in post-secondary education and regional industry and business. Employers look forward to meeting with you well prepared students.
- Properly prepared students are expected to be dressed as professionally as they can be. If a student is concerned about their attire and needs support, please contact Mrs. Chesser at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Cash prizes will be issued to some students who most impress exhibitors with their attitude, presentation, politeness and proactive engagement.
- Cash prizes will also be issued to students who submit creative and professional resumes. Students should make sure their resumes reflect a career path or job intention. If students need help with their resumes, please contact Mrs. Chesser, Work-based Learning Coordinator at email@example.com.
