On Friday, May 19, 2017, our 11th grade students will be taking the state mandated New England Common Assessment (NECAP) in the area of Science. To accommodate this assessment we will be running the following schedule:
- Monday, May 15: Monday Schedule
- Tuesday, May 16: Tuesday Schedule
- Wednesday, May 17: Wednesday Schedule
- Thursday, May 18: Tuesday Schedule
- Friday, May 19: Wednesday Schedule

Due to the number of school cancellations this winter the last day of school will be Thursday, June 22nd. Graduation will be held on Saturday, June 17th as scheduled.

SENIORS: There are 49 seniors whose baby/childhood photos we do not have for the senior slide show. Please get a digital photo, or a hard copy to be scanned, to Kierstynn Hawkins or Mrs. Hebert by the end of the week. Thank you!
REMINDER TO SENIORS: Community Service hours are due now! Please make sure that all forms are signed and turned into Mr. Murray immediately. Remember, this is a graduation requirement.
ATTENTION SENIORS: If you have not had your vision exam done, please go to the nearest Health Office ASAP so they may be completed before May 30th.
Student Council Election: Any student wishing to run for a Class Office, an Executive Committee Office or petition for a class representative may pick up petitions, job descriptions and the election process dates from Mrs. Fraser in Room W-115.
Free Spring HPV Vaccine Clinic for all students. If you are interested, please see the nurses to pick up a consent form and receive additional information. The clinic will be held on May 17th at 8:00 a.m. in the Gym. This vaccine can prevent you from getting some types of cancer.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: All students interested in representing the student body at the Maple Run Unified School District Board Meetings for the 2017-2018 school year are invited to apply by sending a one-page letter of interest to Mr. Lyons by 2:45 p.m. on Friday, May 19th. The Administration will review the letters of interest, candidates will be chosen and will be expected to give a short speech the week of May 22nd. The student body will then vote on the candidates they would like to have represent them. The top two students in the voting will be announced at the end of the week.
If you are interested in being part of A World of Difference, the applications are now available in the Guidance Office. Please make sure that your application is 3 pages long; Cover Letter, Student Application and Teacher/Staff Recommendation Form. Applications are due in the Guidance Office Wednesday, May 24th.
